Sr Business Strategist, TFB Revenue Analytics

Job Overview Reporting to the Senior Manager of TFB Revenue Analytics, the Senior Business Strategist identifies opportunities to drive revenue growth across the T-Mobile for Business base. The role leads complex, driver‑based analysis across TFB products and segments, supports weekly variance reporting against the TFB revenue forecast, and develops insights and business cases for new revenue growth opportunities. The Senior Business Strategist works cross‑functionally with acquisition, retention, product, and marketing/sales operations partners to identify and size initiatives and share actionable insights and recommendations with senior leaders. Rigorous, quantitative revenue analysis informs product and channel strategies and facilitates data‑informed decision‑making across TFB. The Senior Business Strategist communicates with senior executives and business team counterparts, providing clear explanations of how the revenue profiles of various products and segments are performing relative to weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual commitments. This includes closely examining inflows, outflows, renewals, and base rate plan migrations to understand performance drivers, variances from expectations, and how results will roll forward into forward‑looking revenue forecasts. This individual works cross‑functionally with business partners and data teams to execute a portfolio of revenue‑focused analytical priorities. They independently lead complex workstreams, synthesize findings into clear strategic implications, and translate quantitative insights into actionable recommendations that shape product and channel strategy. They proactively identify emerging risks and opportunities within the revenue base, frame trade‑offs for leadership, and provide recommendations on prioritization based on potential business impact. They maintain rigorous analytical standards, deliver high‑quality outputs, and generate insights that materially influence T-Mobile’s top and bottom lines. Location Requirements Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in office. Must be located in Bellevue, WA. Job Responsibilities Lead strategic projects to analyze business challenges and deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders Develop financial and market models to support decision‑making and evaluate growth opportunities Synthesize complex data into clear, concise presentations for executive audiences Identify and communicate market and competitor trends to inform organizational strategy Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align strategies and drive business initiatives Coordinate preparation activities for key organizational events such as earnings calls and board meetings Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed Education and Work Experience Bachelor's Degree plus 7 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience (Required) Acceptable areas of study include Business, Management, Economics, Statistics, or related field (Required) 7-10 years Management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or other related experience requiring quantitative analysis and executive presentation skills (Required) Less than 2 years Prior experience in B2B, Product Strategy, and/or Telecom (Preferred) 4-7 years Strategy and Problem Solving experience in framing complex problems, identifying key issues that impact business decisions and providing data driven recommendations (Required) 4-7 years Financial modeling and Analytics. Experience in developing financial models and performing financial and operating analysis and reporting, including analyzing complex data (Required) Less than 2 years Project management. Experience managing project independently, engaging and getting buy‑in from stakeholders, creating roadmaps and project plans (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strategy Proactive problem solver who can break ambiguous problems into pieces using a hypothesis‑driven approach. Ability to frame problems, use strategic frameworks, develop strategies (Required) Business Acumen Business Model: Knowledge and understanding of business models, pricing strategies, channel management. Analytical and data‑driven, comfortable triangulating data to estimate market sizes and build financial models (Required) Financial Analysis Ability to build financial models and develop qualitative analysis, perform sensitivity analysis. Comfortable reading and understanding implications of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements (Required) Communication Ability to synthesize analysis into succinct, executive‑ready written, visual, and verbal communications. Ability to articulate rationale and present in front of senior leaders. Effective communicator who knows how to bring structure and clarity to situations where direction is limited (Required) Problem Solving Critical Thinking: Ability to think through complex problems. Intellectually curious, enjoys researching new technologies and products. Natural hustler with a contagious can‑do attitude (Required) High Performance Teams Team player, adept at working with others to overcome obstacles and gain alignment to achieve results (Required) Licenses and Certifications At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Additional Information Travel Required: Yes. DOT Regulated Position: No. Safety Sensitive Position: No. Compensation Base Pay Range: $129,700 - $234,000. Corporate Bonus Target: 20%. Pay is based on work location, qualifications, and experience, and can vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non‑temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year‑end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
