As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Unit in Delaware, OH , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $20.55 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 05:00 AM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts’) : You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, equipment issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or facility‑related hazards. Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or contractor information as directed by site policies, and help support traffic flow, badge checks, and delivery‑related activity. Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activities, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant updates with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal teams as needed. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
