Location: Hollywood, CA 90026
Schedule: 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM (Night Shift)
Requirement: Personal Vehicle Required
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and professional Mobile Security Officer with a personal vehicle to provide overnight security services for a small shopping center located in the Hollywood 90026 area. The officer will be responsible for maintaining a visible security presence, conducting foot patrols, completing scheduled security tours, and protecting the property from unauthorized activity, vandalism, and damage.
A reliable personal vehicle is required for this position. Officers must be able to arrive on site consistently, remain mobile during their shift, and respond promptly to security concerns throughout the property.
The ideal candidate will have a professional verbal and physical demeanor, strong situational awareness, and the ability to handle challenging interactions calmly and respectfully.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine vehicle-supported security operations and foot patrols throughout the shopping center property.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and property damage.
- Perform scheduled DETEX security tours and ensure all checkpoints are completed.
- Monitor activity involving unauthorized occupants, loitering, and homeless encampments.
- Professionally communicate with individuals on the property and direct unauthorized persons away from restricted areas while following company procedures.
- Prevent property damage by identifying and addressing security concerns before escalation.
- Complete hourly detailed activity reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and officer actions.
- Inspect common areas, tenant areas, parking areas, and exterior property conditions.
- Maintain professional communication with property management, tenants, and emergency services when required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to the assigned property.
- Prior security, patrol, customer service, or property protection experience preferred.
- Professional verbal communication skills with the ability to de-escalate difficult situations.
- Professional physical presence and the ability to conduct regular walking patrols.
- Ability to complete written reports accurately and clearly.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work overnight hours.
Preferred Candidate Profile

- Confident when addressing property concerns.
- Observant and proactive in identifying security issues.
- Comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
- Dedicated to protecting commercial property and maintaining a safe environment.
Vehicle is mandatory for this position. Candidates without reliable transportation will not be considered.
