We are seeking an HR & Payroll Coordinator to support our Human Resources team at our Ramsey manufacturing facility. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering a seamless employee experience by supporting payroll processing, HR operations, and employee engagement initiatives. As an HR and Payroll Coordinator at Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, you will: Answer policy, payroll, benefit, and HR related questions Complete weekly and bi‑weekly payroll processing, including maintenance of UKG timekeeping, and accurate record‑keeping of payroll transactions Process all leaves of absence, coordinating all paperwork, communication, and return to work Assist in coordination of employee engagement activities throughout the year Assist in the recruitment & selection process (sourcing, screening and coordination of interviews) Conduct new hire processing (background checks and drug tests) and pre‑start communication Conduct new hire orientation Perform HRIS transactions in an accurate and timely manner May conduct training for employees Perform administrative tasks such as filing and creating communication and event postings Assist in safety initiatives to lower accidents within the facility Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned What Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is looking for in our HR and Payroll Coordinator: 1 - 3 years related experience in HR and/or Payroll Open to learning and taking on additional responsibilities Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations High attention to detail and confidentiality Excellent interpersonal, organization, analytical and decision‑making skills Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience in Workday and UKG strongly preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a focus in Human Resources or a related field preferred At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we think customer first, play as one team, and raise the bar on fitness innovation —in the gym and in every corner of our facilities. The salary range for this position in the U.S. is $48,700 - $67,800 annually. This role is non‑exempt and eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. Actual salary will vary based on education, experience, skills, and abilities.
