Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Sedate or circulate for Left Heart Cath, STEMIs, PCI, Right Heart Cath, pericardiocentesis, and temporary wires
• Provide direct patient care for adult patients within a 2-room Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Participate in on-call coverage, with an expected 3 on-call shifts per week; must be able to arrive at the facility within 30 minutes when called in
• Participate in weekend coverage, including an expected 3 single weekend call shifts per month
• Float within specialty, other units, and sister facilities within scope as required
• Fulfill holiday shift obligations as scheduled, including the day before or after a holiday when applicable

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab (first-time travelers accepted)
• Active Maryland RN license or active Compact RN license at time of submission
• ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Ability to sedate or circulate for Left Heart Cath, STEMIs, PCI, Right Heart Cath, pericardiocentesis, and temporary wires
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (permanent address)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to sedate or circulate for pacemaker implantation, Bi-V devices, and ICD implantable devices
• Experience with Inari device for pulmonary embolism (PE) cases
