Monday - Thursday 

5:30 AM - 4:00 PM

$21.00 per hour  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Use manual welding skills to manufacture weldments to defined specifications, workmanship standards, and production schedule.
• Prepare and set up necessary tools and equipment for welding jobs.
• Arrange parts for welding and staging processes.
• Perform quality inspections and checks per quality documentation/control plan, including documentation of results.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Lead.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition, following prescribed safety procedures.
• Uphold site efficiency and productivity standards.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement for safety and quality standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead.
• Assist in other work areas as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Must pass AWS certifications for MIG welding steel and aluminum.
• Basic understanding of welding symbols, print tolerances, and quality measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write basic correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and work orders.
• Strong math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
