Electronic Assembler II

Job Description Job Description The Panther Group is seeking Electronic Assemblers to join a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer in Austin, TX. If you have experience with electronic assembly, soldering, wire harnesses, and reading blueprints, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Assemble electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies, and modules using work instructions, drawings, schematics, and process documentation. Perform electronic and mechanical assembly operations, including: Wire termination Cable and wire harness installation Mechanical assembly Connector installation Torque applications Assemble, disassemble, and modify production assemblies and prototype units. Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and assembly instructions. Perform quality inspections to ensure compliance with IPC and J-STD workmanship standards. Use microscopes and precision hand tools to complete detailed assembly work. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve production issues and improve processes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School diploma Minimum of 2 years of electronic assembly experience Experience assembling small electronic devices Experience with: Wire harnesses Cabling Wiring Mechanical assembly Soldering Ability to read and interpret: Blueprints Schematics Engineering drawings Assembly instructions Computer proficiency Excellent attention to detail Experience working under a microscope Ability to obtain: Solder Certification ESD Certification Material Handling Certification Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of electronic assembly experience Electronic/mechanical assembly experience IPC-A-610 or J-STD soldering experience Knowledge of: Resistors Capacitors Diodes Transistors Relays Transformers Experience using crimping tools Previous aerospace, defense, or military electronics manufacturing experience Pay up to $35.86 per hour DOE #ZRPROF \nCompany Description We are the experts in Human Capital.
