Job Description
Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a unique opportunity to make a difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract assignment designed to cover a leave. This rewarding role runs from August 2026 through November or December 2026, and offers a steady 30-hour workweek, Monday through Friday. Your expertise will directly support students’ communication growth, while you enjoy working within a collaborative environment assisted by skilled SLPAs already on campus.
As a valued clinician, you’ll manage a manageable caseload averaging around 45 students, focusing on assessments, individualized interventions, and IEP participation. This is an excellent fit for professionals passionate about supporting students’ success and eager to contribute their skills in a dynamic educational setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current CCC-SLP certification from ASHA
- Active or eligible California state licensure for SLP
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective, data-driven therapy strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy and evaluations for a diverse student population
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, collaborating with IEP teams and families
- Maintain timely documentation and compliance with school and federal guidelines
- Guide and mentor SLPAs, ensuring continuity and quality of service
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and consult with staff on student needs
