Data Center Technician

What You’ll Do Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability meet defined service levels Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and perform physical repairs, including root cause analysis of failures Respond to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while on scheduled on-call rotation Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware, and maintain documentation and inventory Assemble, install, and perform maintenance of equipment and test tools; travel up to 10% of time to other data center locations as needed What You Need Computer hardware experience including troubleshooting and assembling Linux operating system experience Ability to regularly transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs Ability to remain in stationary position for extended periods and maneuver in cramped or elevated spaces to access server racks Availability to work flexible schedule within 24/7 environment including rotating on-call shifts Nice to Have Data center operations experience or computer networking experience Python, Bash, or other scripting languages experience Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS Associate's degree or equivalent experience in IT-related field Base salary $65,000-$83,000, plus discretionary bonus and equity awards.
