Auxiliary Pay Plan Pay Grade: BD Days: 192 Starting Pay: $15.65 Hr.
Qualifications
Education/Certification: Valid Texas commercial driver's license (Class B or Class A with endorsement code P and code S) Individual recommended for the position must pay a $48.25 fingerprinting fee by credit card as part of the application process to be considered for employment. (Fee is subject to change.)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to pass alcohol and drug test
- Ability to complete required bus driver safety training
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively/bilingual
- Knowledge of student discipline procedure
- Ability to manage student behavior
- Ability to operate bus
- Ability to work around/with disabled children
