Therapy Place 4 Kids is looking for an outgoing, dynamic Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time position in a multi-disciplinary pediatric clinic.

We are housed within a beautiful 8,000 square foot, state of the art, pediatric center in Santa Monica, CA.

Therapy Place 4 Kids provides Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech & Language Therapy. We are always on top of the latest research and utilize a variety of approaches to best meet the needs of each individual child and family. TP4K is looking for highly motivated, independent, driven, organized, energetic, and creative therapists to provide high quality, individualized therapy. We are looking for therapists that are motivated to learn and interested to take their careers to a new level. We're looking to hire a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with experience preferred. New graduates or CF candidates are welcome.

We have an employment opportunity for a full-time position (30-35 visits per week). What are the job duties?

• Providing developmental assessments and treatments in a play-based approach for children ages birth to 18 years of age in the clinic environment
• Providing parent education and home programs related to treatment goals
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (OT, PT, Speech and other disciplines-- Ed therapy, MFT, Neuropsychology, who rent space in the building) on a daily basis
• Completing biannual progress reports utilizing standardized developmental assessment tools
• Other related duties - daily documentation, management of treatment materials and spaces, continuing education, passion for learning and clinical growth.
• Full time employees are expected to carry a caseload of 34 billable hours per week. This comes out to 25-27 actual treatment hours after cancellations.

Requirements:

• CA Speech & Hearing License or CF License
• Accreditation by ASHA
• CPR Licensure
• At least 1 year of pediatric experience - new graduates are welcome to apply. For CF Candidates - we have a wonderful mentorship program and provide a quality CF experience for growth and development.
