Deputy Probation Officer: Field Investigator & Counselor

Sacramento County Probation Department

The Sacramento County Probation Department is hiring a Deputy Probation Officer to perform professional work in supervising probationers and investigating adult offenders and juvenile court referrals. Candidates must possess a degree in social or behavioral sciences and relevant experience in correctional work. This position requires the ability to establish effective relationships, prepare reports, and cope with hostility.
