Hours: Full Time – 40+hrs/week

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily QA inspections of processing plant and warehouses.
• Monitor plant and warehouse operations to ensure sanitary conditions are maintained according to an internal HACCP Food Safety Plan.
• Ensure company cGMP policies are enforced at the employee and plant level.
• Inspect incoming raw material and outgoing product for temperature, quality, compliance, and wholesomeness.
• Monitor product and cold storage temperatures according to company CCPs.
• Identify and report food safety issues and assist in conducting root cause analysis of any issues.
• Verify daily lot checks of products to ensure full traceability.
• Assist with regulatory and third-party inspections/audits.
• Perform equipment calibrations (Scales & Thermometers).
• Serve as a reliable support resource to production employees for quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Finish daily documentation accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
• Label compliance.
• Perform meat export tasks with QA Manager and USDA personnel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and have demonstrated technical competence.
• Food safety and/or food operations experience (preferred).
• Bilingual (preferred).

• Early Hours - Production begins at 4AM or 5AM
