Group Sales Manager - Bossier Overview Why We Need Your Talents: With our rapid projected expansion, the Live! This position is responsible for planning, soliciting and book sales to meet/exceed revenue/profit goals and manage customer relationships to ensure that all revenue and marketing opportunities are realized. The incumbent is responsible for driving customer loyalty by delivering service and sales excellence throughout each customer experience. This position will process business correspondence and create contracts and other related booking documentation as required. This position requires excellent selling skills, strong communication skills, and a detailed understanding of hotel operations, food and beverage, and planning. This position reports to the Director of Sales. Responsibilities Where You'll Make an Impact: Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana departmental policies and procedures. Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees. Develop and maintain an account base, as designated by Sales Leadership, to achieve revenue goals through proactive sales, prompt response to all inquiries and correspondence from clients, prospects and lead referrals and follow up on assigned sales leads. Be responsible for and implement a sales action plan for the development of the designated market segments with or without food and beverage which includes Prospecting calls, outside sales calls, performing site tours, related sales trips, trade show participation, networking opportunities and entertainment. Execute sales calls, trade shows and sales trips as designated. Driving and travel will be required. Provide weekly and monthly reports of sales calls and marketing actions as requested by Sales Leadership. Participate in trade shows and community and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and the achievement of sales and revenue goals. Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned and participate in task forces and committees as requested. Other duties as assigned. Minimum of two years of hotel group sales experience. Exceptional prospecting and negotiation skills Experience/account knowledge of the Shreveport/Bossier area preferred. Direct experience with all or some of the following hotel segments is required: Group: Corporate, Association, SMERF, Catering Events, Sports, and Government Knowledge of Delphi FDC preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel preferred. You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment. Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
