Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a LocumsFamily Medicine Physician for an outpatient opportunity in Albuquerque, NewMexico. This position offers a predictable Monday-Friday schedule with no call,no late clinic, and no after-hours charting.

Position Highlights

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
No late clinic
No call or weekends
No after-hours charting
100% outpatient
Average 8-14 patients per day
Full-spectrum Family Medicine
Patient population ranges from newborns through retirees
True value-based care model - no fee-for-service and no RVU requirements
EMR: Elation

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
Perform comprehensive physical examinations.
Develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide preventive and wellness care.
Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
Coordinate specialty referrals when appropriate.
Manage patients across the full spectrum of outpatient primary care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.

Qualifications

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
Board Certification/Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active New Mexico medical license
BLS required
DEA registration required
Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience
