Boots & Kimo's Homestyle Kitchen in Kailua, HI, is seeking a line cook to join our team of 23 dedicated staff members. Our location is 1020 Keolu Drive, Suite D1, Kailua.
The ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working.
Upon successfully completing the probationary period, you will be eligible to receive a monthly bonus.
**Responsibilities:**
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Chop vegetables and meats, prepare sauces, batters, and other food items according to recipes.
- Cook menu items in collaboration with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Follow all food preparation procedures and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Clean up your station and properly handle leftover food.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy, and moderately noisy environment with diverse personalities. The kitchen can become crowded and high-pressure.
- Stock and restock inventory as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Cooking experience or back-of-the-house experience is preferred.
- Able to meet all scheduling commitments.
- Capable of anticipating the needs of others in the kitchen and proactively working to meet those needs.
- Strong attention to detail.
