Outpatient TherapistThe Outpatient Therapist provides clinical assessment and treatment to individuals and groups with identified behavioral health and/or substance use challenges in a community-based outpatient setting. Services may be provided in person and/or through telehealth.The Outpatient Therapist provides developmentally appropriate, culturally competent services utilizing a holistic, mind-and-body approach. The position focuses on evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a variety of behavioral health needs, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV).Primary clinical responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions tailored to the diverse needs of clients.The Outpatient Therapist is expected to complete all required clinical documentation and billing within established timeframes using an electronic health records system. Group professional liability insurance is provided.Duties & Essential Job Functions:Contact all appropriate parties within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving a new referral.Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and clinical assessments to identify client needs.Develop individualized treatment plans within four weeks of completing the initial assessment.Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs, including treatment related to depression, anxiety, trauma, Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), and other behavioral health concerns.Provide individual and/or group therapy services in person and/or through telehealth, as appropriate.Continually assess client needs and obtain reauthorizations as necessary to prevent lapses in services.Complete required documentation, including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries, billing documentation, and other documentation required by funding sources.Maintain an appropriate caseload while meeting established productivity expectations.Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality with clients and families, as well as other team members involved in client care.Conduct and/or facilitate group workshops or classes and participate in specialized projects as assigned.Demonstrate professionalism through effective and respectful communication with coworkers, supervisors, clients, families, community partners, and other interested parties.Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to provide compassionate, culturally competent care to individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and age groups.Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and behavioral health treatment practices.Ability to conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.Ability to complete documentation accurately and within required deadlines.Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.Strong teamwork, collaboration, and consensus-building skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and client confidentiality.Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Education, Experience & Training:Master's degree in a behavioral health field, such as psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field, required.At least one year of clinical experience preferred.Experience providing therapeutic services to individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, IPV, substance use, and/or other behavioral health concerns is preferred.Certification & Licensure Requirements:Nebraska fully licensed professionals (LCSW, LMHP, or LIMHP) are preferred.Provisional licensure (PLMHP) may be considered.Nebraska Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC or PLADC) credential is a plus.Specialized training relevant to behavioral health treatment is a plus.Must be eligible to become an authorized Medicaid provider and meet credentialing requirements for applicable private insurance providers.Valid Nebraska driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and proof of automobile liability insurance required.Drug testing, criminal background checks, and child/adult abuse clearances are required.Full-Time Employee Benefits:Bi-weekly pay via direct deposit14 days accrued paid time off40 hours accrued sick time1 floating/personal holiday8 paid holidaysFree parkingFlexible schedulingGroup professional liability insuranceAdditional employee benefits may be available
