About the Project

We're a small 6-person team making a competitive platform fighter focused on high-level play, advanced training systems, and community-driven content. The game emphasizes mechanical depth, modular systems, and long-term competitive integrity. 

We are building a new IP with a distinct, stylized visual identity, and are looking for a 3D artist to help define our characters.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality, stylized 3D character models
• Sculpt and optimize models for real-time performance
• Integrate 3D assets into Godot, ensuring proper visual direction
• Collaborate with animators and designers to ensure gameplay readability and visual design

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating stylized 3D characters
• Proficiency in industry tools
• Experience creating game-ready assets (optimized meshes, clean UVs)
• Working proficiency in English

Nice to have: 2D concepting, character design, or visual development / generalist skills. Not required, but would be very valuable and would increase the scope of work. Also 3D generalist skills beyond character work (environments / stages / props / etc), are also a plus.

Scope (Initial)

• 2 full character models (expandable)
• Deliverables include:
• High-poly model
• UVs and textures/materials
• Implementation-ready files
