The company is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse and production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising daily activities, coordinating production schedules, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic setting and is passionate about developing employees, driving performance, and fostering continuous improvement. This is a direct-hire position. Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Production Management
• Coordinate daily production activities and workflow for a team of 7-8 employees within a designated area.
• Manage labor resources, prioritize projects, and oversee daily operational requirements to meet production goals.
• Collaborate with production, planning, and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor production systems, enter and maintain operational data, correct system errors, and manage key operational controls.
• Escalate operational issues as needed and make timely decisions to maintain productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure products meet established quality standards and customer requirements.
Leadership & Team Development
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to warehouse and production employees.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.
• Promote open communication and collaboration across departments.
• Support employee development and encourage continuous learning and growth.
Safety & Compliance
• Champion and reinforce the company's safety culture and safe work practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and address safety concerns proactively to maintain a safe working environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with contractors, maintenance personnel, and cross-functional teams to support operational objectives.
• Work closely with leadership and fellow supervisors to align priorities and drive business results.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence and process optimization. Qualifications:
Required
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (6:00 AM-6:00 PM / 6:00 PM-6:00 AM).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
Preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial operations experience.
• Experience leading Continuous Improvement initiatives, Kaizen events, Lean Manufacturing activities, or similar process improvement programs. Key Competencies:
