Job Description
An Occupational Therapist in an individual practice setting provides specialized care focusing on adult patients. Working independently, this role involves regular home visits to assess and support patients' rehabilitation needs. The therapist designs personalized therapy plans, educates patients, and coordinates care while ensuring compliance and optimal recovery outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to determine functional abilities and needs
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans targeting adult patients
- Provide rehabilitation guidance and adaptive equipment training
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment accordingly
- Maintain thorough documentation and manage compliance requirements
- Educate patients on therapy goals and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed
- Coordinate care and conduct regular home visits
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in occupational therapy
