Job Description
The Millwright Mechanic will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery to ensure smooth operations within a small maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position focuses on equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and system testing with a strong emphasis on safety and system reliability. The ideal candidate brings extensive mechanical expertise and CNC knowledge to troubleshoot, install, and maintain complex machinery within a safety-conscious environment. Advancement opportunities are available within the maintenance department for dedicated individuals.
Responsibilities
- Perform equipment repair and preventive maintenance tasks
- Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems
- Machinery installation projects
- Interpret blueprints to guide mechanical work
- Ensure safety compliance in all maintenance activities
- Maintain tools and equipment in optimal condition
- Conduct system testing to verify functionality
- Document maintenance work and system updates
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in CNC machinery operation and maintenance a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to read micrometers and calipers
