Payroll Processing Associate

Location Columbus, OH Pay Rate $14.85 - $18.80 per hour Schedule 1st shift Mon‑Fri. Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) with possible changes based on business needs. Weekend and holiday work may be required. Overtime may occur. Flexibility to work outside the scheduled shift as needed. Job Duties Training on client payroll systems and internal web‑based applications. Process payroll data and maintain confidentiality. Communicate payroll issues with internal and external contacts. Use 10‑key calculator skills and efficient keyboard typing. Perform payroll audits. Work some weekends and holidays with advance notice. Adapt to changing schedules and overtime requirements. Demonstrate high energy, learning aptitude, reliability, and a positive attitude. Assist with non‑union and union wage plans. Additional Duties Audit payroll records to ensure accuracy. Maintain confidentiality in a team environment. Use good math skills for payroll tasks. Minimum Qualifications Basic proficiency in MS Office Excel and Access (data entry focus). Preferred but not required: payroll experience. Flexible to work outside scheduled shifts as needed. Typing speed of 40 words per minute or more. Strong 10‑key calculator skills.
