Payroll Administrator
Accounting & Finance
$21.00 per hour
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Westerville, Ohio (Onsite)
Contract (2–3 months, with potential to extend to 6 months)

What You’ll Do:
- Accurately process employee timesheets, and all payroll-related data – verification and precision are critical in this role
- Calculate special payroll deductions, including garnishments and other required withholdings
- Provide backup support across the payroll department as needed
- Develop working knowledge of the interaction between timekeeping systems and payroll processing platforms
- Research and resolve employee payroll questions; review payroll data for accuracy and compliance
- Communicate payroll policies to employees and assist with year-end filing
- Gather and supply payroll data for integration into financial statements
- Partner with General Accounting and HR to ensure alignment between financial statements and individual pay processing
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years of payroll experience, including at least 3 years with Oracle HCM or comparable payroll software and Kronos Timekeeping
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field; 3 years of directly relevant experience may substitute for education
- Payroll certification preferred (CPP or FPC)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with multiple automated timekeeping and payroll systems
- Excellent attention to detail – data accuracy and verification are core to this role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain payroll policies clearly to employees
- Demonstrated respect for the confidentiality and sensitivity of payroll information
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
