Business Analyst & Project Manager

In collaboration with Syscon Justice System, Dynamic Planning & Response is seeking a Business Analyst & Project Manager.


The Role

Syscon Justice System is seeking a Business Analyst & Project Manager to strengthen its Professional Services department.

As a core member of the Professional Services group, this role will be entrusted to successfully deliver on, execute and complete key deliverables, such as requirements gathering, solutions design, documentation, quality assurance, and knowledge management.

In addition to the timely and quality of software delivery for our clients, this role will also be responsible for providing process guidance and knowledge mentorship to all members in the organization. Additional responsibilities may be requested as the role evolves.

What will be your impact:

Requirements & Design:

• Reviews business requirements in partnership and collaboration with the business and obtains sign-off
• Validates feasibility studies and estimates
• Validates business case(s) outlining cost impacts and value drivers of proposed solutions
• Drives the design and conceptualization of new business solution options and manages identified impacts and risks
• Works closely with the QA and Dev teams to ensure successful project deliverables
• Works with QA team to ensure requirements to test plan traceability are fulfilled.
• Serves as the subject matter expert for the Syscon product line
• Design, evolve, and contribute to Syscon's knowledge capital

Project Operations:

• Proactively identify and alert management and/or customers on potential risk to the timeline and/or project deliverables.
• Manages progress of tasks and deliverables throughout the project. This includes maintaining project plan and project artifacts
• Conducts project status meetings, distribute status reports to project sponsors / stakeholders, manage expectations, and serve as main communication source for the project

Leadership:

• Actively supports the business strategy, plans and values, contributing to the achievement of a high-performance culture
• Acts as a role model for new employees, providing help and support to facilitate early integration and assimilation of their new environment.

What we are looking for:

• 5 years' experience working within a software delivery environment, where processes evolve; sales operation experience is an asset
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, allowing the successful candidate to coach and influence stakeholders at varying levels in an organization
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or Criminology is required
• Self-motivated, passionate, empathetic, approachable
• Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time to Australia, North America, and the United Kingdom
• Comfortable presenting to groups of 20+ individuals
• Experience working with Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and MS Excel

Salary: $70,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
