REIMBURSEMENT SPECIALIST/ANALY - Debit Department

Reimbursement Analyst
The reimbursement specialist analyst analyzes reimbursement trends and identifies underpayments, facilitates reconsiderations, and appeals with payers. This role coordinates and oversees the complete process of underpayment reconsiderations, including correction of insurance plan errors, payment transfers, and account adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years healthcare/collection experience and or equivalent experience in a hospital setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of acute care medical insurance billing relating to patient reimbursement.
- Technical Skills: Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, database, and patient accounting system.
