Job Description Patient Accounts Specialist – Medicare (Monday‑Friday 5:00 AM‑1:30 PM) The Patient Accounts Specialist manages Medicare billing and collections, including verifying medical insurance, processing reimbursements, correcting cash posting errors, handling denials and appeals, validating that codes and charges are correct, and preparing and submitting claims according to Medicare payer guidelines to ensure accurate and timely claims. Experience 2+ years medical insurance billing and collections experience. Education High School or equivalent. Requirements Demonstrates knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections. Experience with denials and appeals. Excel and data entry systems experience.
