Job Summary Job ID: R-52114 Site Location: Liberty Hospital Position Summary / Career Interest: Assists patients with activities of daily living and performs technical skills under the direction of the nurse. Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Assist with appropriate patient care and interventions as delegated by the nurse Report outcomes and changes in patient condition to the nurse Collaborate with the nurse in the plan of care Report observations regarding effectiveness of intervention to the nurse Communicate effectively with patient, family, physicians, and health care team Apply safety and infection control measures Documentation of patient care provided in the clinical record Continuing education as assigned Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department These statements are intended to describe the essential functions of the job and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
