Product Manager

Job Description A large investment banking client is looking for a Product Manager to join their organization. This person would be joining a sophisticated, digital-forward custody platform, specifically engineered to meet the complex requirements of independent Registered Investment Advisors. The platform ecosystem features a suite of high-performance web-based portals and a native mobile application. We prioritize seamless digital workflows—from automated onboarding to advanced money movement capabilities—ensuring that our technology scales alongside the rapidly evolving needs of the modern RIA. Responsibilities As an Associate Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution. You will be responsible for the following: Product Development and Engineering Collaboration Prioritize product initiatives by evaluating their alignment with broader business strategies and the value generated for Advisors and End-Clients. Participate in ideation activities, product feasibility assessments, and overall product definition, including feature lists and prioritization. Lead discovery sessions across diverse business functions to solicit stakeholder input. Coordinate across multiple groups to inform requirements, including Operations, Transitions, Client Service Representatives (CSRs), Sales, and Legal & Compliance (L&C). Drive the execution of the product roadmap by writing user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for engineering development. Convert high-level user requirements into detailed Jira stories. Strategically balance the delivery of new functionality with bug fixes and urgent client requests. Manage multiple workstreams with engineering teams across the Client Experience and Banking pillars to ensure cohesive delivery. Cross-Functional Leadership and Communication Drive organizational process improvements, including go-to-market strategies and client feedback management. Manage internal communications, training sessions, and feature announcements across web and mobile platforms for both Advisors and their end clients. Navigate complexity and influence across teams through a collaborative approach. Anticipate organizational needs and drive operational efficiency with a forward-thinking mindset. Strong ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams. Proven experience working with data, API platforms, and digital capabilities. Proficiency in visual aid and project management tools to create and document flowcharts, and diagrams. Demonstrated ability to build and execute digital roadmaps and drive change in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
