Part-time Family Assistant- Chelsea, NY

A busy family in Chelsea, New York is seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Family Assistant to provide day-to-day household support.The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a family environment, be comfortable around pets and children, and take pride in keeping a home organized and running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Laundry and wardrobe organization

• Light housekeeping and daily household upkeep (deep cleaning handled by a cleaning service)

• Simple meal preparation and light cooking

• Household organization and inventory management

• Running errands, shopping, and household procurement

• Walking and caring for the family's small breed dog twice daily

• Assisting with after-school care and supervision of school aged child

• Coordinating household vendors, appointments, and service providers

• Supporting family scheduling, logistics, and general administrative tasks

• Assisting with special projects and providing overall household support as needed

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Comfortable working with children and pets

• Ability to work independently and anticipate household needs

• Excellent communication and discretion

• Valid driver's license preferred but not required

• Excellent, verifiable references 

Schedule: Part-time; 20-25 hours per week
