As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors while documenting security-related activity using computer or tablet tools. Position Type: Part Time Weekly Pay Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established reporting channels. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Possession of a guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
