Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for a 12-week travel assignment in a long-term care facility (nursing home) located in Silver City, New Mexico. Specialty: Long Term Care. Responsibilities
- Provide direct, resident-centered nursing care within the scope of an LPN in a long-term care setting
- Monitor vital signs, assess changes in resident condition, and report findings to the supervising nurse
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide comfort, dignity, and privacy
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and update care plans
- Maintain infection control practices, document care, and ensure resident safety and compliance with regulations

Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico (current and in good standing)
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 3x12 schedule
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to document accurately and maintain resident confidentiality
