About the Opportunity - Bookkeeper

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily financial operations and maintain accurate accounting records. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to the overall financial health of a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities - Bookkeeper

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process invoices, payments, and vendor transactions in a timely manner
Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts
Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end closing activities
Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Generate financial reports and provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities
Maintain organized accounting files and documentation for audits and internal reviews
Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters

Qualifications - Bookkeeper

3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Experience in the construction, manufacturing, or related industry preferred
Knowledge of payroll processing and financial reporting preferred
