Job Summary: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Tucson, Arizona) The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The role supports patient-centered care for patients across physical and developmental age needs, including collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, timely, and effective outcomes. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift with 12 shift hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Start Date: 07/13/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice (including temporary/interim RN license or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; demonstrated clinical performance competencies with annual validations; experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired (including experience requirements for acute care settings as specified in the posting).
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferred; professional certification preferred; additional related education and/or experience preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Provides direct patient care by assessing patient needs, formulating and revising plans of care, implementing ordered care, evaluating responses to care and teaching, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to plan and update care, including discharge planning.
  • Communicates patient status accurately and completely to other caregivers to support continuity of care.
  • Delegates and provides nursing supervision of licensed and non-licensed personnel as appropriate to patient care needs.
  • May participate in unit or facility shared leadership, education, role development, and orientation activities, including precepting and mentoring when appropriate.
  • Uses standard precautions due to exposure risk to blood and bodily fluids and may require physical capabilities including the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
