Assistant Director

Front Of House Restaurant Leader

A leader that is responsible for the daily operations of the front of house restaurant team to exceed guest expectations and achieve restaurant goals.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Leads the team in customer service and hospitality during the entirety of a shift
• Ensures that team members work at a pace to maintain restaurant's established speed of service guidelines
• Ensures security protocols are followed
• Holds team members accountable to adhering to policies and procedures
• Ensures that team members maintain overall facility cleanliness
• Perform any of the tasks above as needed throughout shift
• Addresses guest issues that may arise
• Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Ensure proper stewardship of the facility, equipment, cleaning supplies, and tools
• Trains team members and provides individual feedback on job responsibilities that they are doing well on and areas of opportunities
• Implements new rollouts and initiatives

Qualifications And Skills

• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Customer-friendly demeanor and willingness to serve
• Able to stand for prolonged periods (entire shift), walk, bend, kneel, squat, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Able to maintain positive energy throughout shift with an outgoing, friendly, and patient attitude
• Able to excel in a fast-paced, team environment with a sense of urgency in getting things done
• Able to think ahead and anticipate problems before they happen
• Available to work a flexible schedule and arrive to work at the scheduled time
• Demonstrate unquestionable integrity
• Can self-start and be flexible
• Can think strategically and be creative
