Hours : Monday-Thursday 5:30am-3:30pm. Potential OT on Friday, 5:30am-10:30am. May have 40-50 hour work weeks.

Dress code : Jeans or work pants. T-shirt. No rips, holes, or tears. Nothing offensive. Steel toed shoes.

Job Description:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in warehouse management systems, data entry, and logistics procedures, with experience in inventory management and order fulfillment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where precision and customer service are paramount.


Duties


• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using warehouse management software and RF scanners


• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately for delivery or transfer


• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely to load and unload trucks


• Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and conducting cycle counts or inventory audits


• Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring compliance with shipping & receiving protocols


• Assist with order fulfillment processes for e-commerce platforms and ensure timely processing of customer orders


• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency


• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to resolve shipping discrepancies or issues


Skills

• Proficiency in basic computer skills
• Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and warehouse distribution processes
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely
• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping
• Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills with experience in stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory control
• Customer service orientation to assist internal teams or external clients as needed
• Knowledge of e-commerce order processing and packaging procedures is a plus
