Job Description
LPN - Medical Surgical

Schedule
- Shift: Nights, 7p-7a
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday requirement: Available to work every other holiday, if needed

Assignment Details
- Contract length: 13 weeks

Requirements
- Required license: Active New York LPN (NY single-state)
- Required certifications: BLS
- Minimum experience: 1 year of acute care experience within the last 2 years
- EMR experience: EPIC

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage patient assignments with RN support.
- Perform IV starts/maintenance, central line/PICC care, blood product administration, and phlebotomy.
- Conduct telemetry monitoring and provide oxygen therapy, including HFNC and tracheostomy care.
- Manage feeding tubes, adhere to heparin protocols, and provide wound care including Wound VAC and surgical drains.
- Collaborate with rapid response/code teams and implement isolation precautions as necessary.

Compliance / Notes
- RTO submission restriction applies.
- Candidates within a specified radius of the facility are not accepted for submission.
- Background checks are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- COVID-19 vaccine status is not required.
- Scrub color: navy and white (any combination).
