Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: Asheville, NC

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support operations and production teams across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role acts as a strategic partner to leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, compliance, and organizational development. Approximately 25% travel is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the HR point of contact for assigned locations.
• Advise leaders on performance management, employee development, and employee relations.
• Partner with HR teams on talent acquisition, training, and engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Support safety, workers’ compensation, and HR process improvements.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and serve as backup for other HR roles.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years HR experience, or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

Preferred:

• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Manufacturing experience and supporting both hourly and salaried staff.
