Customer Service Representative

Qualifications:

• Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite preferred but not required). Proficiency in MS Office.
• 2-3+ years of recent order entry or customer account management within manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience with shared inbox management.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
• Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility, especially during the holiday season.
• Associate Degree preferred, but minimum HS Diploma or GED required.

Work Environment

The work environment offers a hybrid schedule, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You will work in the Itasca office on Mondays and Wednesdays, the Glendale Heights office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and remotely on Fridays. This role involves a fast-paced customer service environment with a strong focus on email communication with both domestic and international customers.

Job Description

This position focuses on order entry, managing shared email inboxes, customer communication, order tracking, and follow-up. You will coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer inquiries and support account needs, ensuring orders are fulfilled as promised. The role offers an opportunity for growth, ultimately becoming the sole Customer Service Representative for the Sandream business.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders into NetSuite ERP system.
• Manage shared email inboxes efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer inquiries.
• Support account needs and fulfill orders as promised.
• Learn processes quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
• Take ownership of customer relationships and order management.

This is a Permanent position based out of Glendale Heights, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
