Ultrasound Sonographer Dallas Heart and Vascular, Duncanville, Texas, United States About this position We are a fast-paced, growing heart and vascular clinic seeking a Sonographer. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong ability to multitask. As a Sonographer, you will perform all functions necessary to produce high-quality echocardiograms, stress echoes, and vascular studies. Essential Functions of the Role Able to provide direct patient care to patients in both the stable and acute care settings. Works with general supervision, structuring own work patterns within a general outline. Responsible for reporting interpretations to physicians when completed. Referring unusual situations or problems to the physician/supervisor. Ability to accurately calculate in apothecary and metric systems for drug administration and document clinical information. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. Current ARDMS, CCI, or registry eligible and pass the registry within one year of the date of hire. Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program. Desired Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in the Cardiology field. One (1) year of experience preferred as an ultrasound technologist. Cardiology experience preferred. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Deadline and detail-oriented. 8-hour Day shift Monday to Friday. Physical Requirements This position requires a full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
