CT Technologist - Weekend Option

The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging at a hospital setting, working independently to operate imaging equipment, obtain clinical history, and explain procedures to patients using AIDET. They ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy while performing exams, administering contrast, and reviewing images for diagnostic quality. Key duties include maintaining equipment, adhering to infection control protocols, documenting accurately in RIS/PACS, and responding to emergencies. The role involves organizing workflows, supporting department operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least one year of radiology experience. Certifications required are ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS from the American Heart Association. Skills needed include technical proficiency, patient communication, attention to safety, and teamwork.
