We're looking for an experienced Portfolio Leasing Professional to support a portfolio of approximately 25 residential communities throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area. This is a field-based role for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys working independently, and understands that exceptional customer service and consistent follow-up are the keys to successful leasing.

Rather than being assigned to one leasing office, you'll travel between communities, meet prospective residents where they are, and play a direct role in maintaining occupancy while delivering an outstanding leasing experience.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Portfolio Leasing Professional, you'll be responsible for creating an exceptional experience from the first inquiry through move-in day.

Your day may include:

• Conducting apartment and home tours throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area.
• Building relationships with prospective residents and identifying their housing needs.
• Responding promptly to leasing inquiries and maintaining consistent follow-up.
• Scheduling and coordinating property tours.
• Processing rental applications, lease documents, and move-in paperwork.
• Marketing available homes and maintaining accurate online listings.
• Partnering with onsite teams to achieve occupancy goals.
• Supporting move-ins and move-outs while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Managing leasing activity across approximately 25 residential communities.

Schedule & Work Environment

This is not a traditional office-based leasing position.

Success in this role comes from being flexible, responsive, and available when prospective residents need you.

• Typical days off are Sunday and Tuesday .
• Saturdays are one of the busiest leasing days and are considered part of the regular work schedule.
• Evening appointments may be required to accommodate prospective residents.
• You'll spend much of your day traveling between communities throughout the portfolio.
• This role offers a high level of independence while requiring excellent time management and communication.

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who bring both leasing experience and a customer-first mindset.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous multifamily leasing experience required.
• Experience working across multiple communities or supporting a portfolio is a plus.
• Proven success in sales, leasing, hospitality, or other customer-facing environments.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
