Senior ADMS Delivery Engineer

In this role you will work at the intersection of technology, customer collaboration, and project delivery, applying your technical expertise to solve complex challenges and support successful outcomes across software implementation and integration projects. Responsibilities Integrate ADMS software application solutions for customers, performing assigned system integration and testing tasks. Provide deployment and configuration services for the ADMS solution for customers and GE Vernova internal stakeholders. Analyze, troubleshoot, and support key Distribution Automation functions, including power flow analysis, fault isolation and service restoration (FLISR), Volt‑VAR optimization (VVO), fault location, and feeder reconfiguration. Collaborate with Engineering teams and end customers to ensure reliable, effective, and sustained operation of advanced distribution capabilities. Own a subset of a project and be responsible for integrating, configuring, and testing that piece, contributing to the overall solution. Complete project and system documentation and ensure internal testing is completed. Identify system problems and failures, pursue solutions by researching issues and obtaining support from internal and external resources. Work with other internal delivery teams to obtain timely fixes, supporting the project schedule. Track resolutions to issues and create detailed documentation of solutions, including troubleshooting guides. Provide workshops and training to customers, or resolve technical or business issues that may develop. Provide input to the technical lead on progress relative to project schedules, scope changes, and cost estimates. Perform complex custom software development tasks as required. Ensure the system delivered to the customer is of high quality and meets all technical requirements of the contract. Provide limited marketing support for proposals and demonstrations to potential customers. Train or mentor interns and junior staff as needed. Work extended hours, carry a cell phone, and be on call when required. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Qualifications Basic qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in STEM, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with at least 2+ years of software service delivery experience. Eligibility: Must be willing to work in a hybrid model (3 days a week at a GE Vernova Hub in listed areas) and travel up to 30% to customer sites. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future. Desired Characteristics 4 years of experience in software design, software integration, and/or EMS/ADMS or related experience. Strong software skills in analysis, design, methodology, and architecture. Proven understanding of highly complex hardware and software configurations in a real‑time environment. Ability to learn new software development practices, languages, and tools. 3+ years’ experience in software analysis, design, methodology, implementation, and architecture. Experience with enterprise software and large distributed systems. Experience with Windows and/or Unix, source code management, and IT administration. Good scripting/programming and database skills. Experience managing and setting up virtual machines. Ability to load and configure compilers and third‑party commercial and open‑source products. Good knowledge of Windows, .NET, SQL databases, Web technology integration (Web Servers and Web Services), and SOA technologies. Strong spoken and written English language skills. Experience with data extraction and conversion. Ability to articulate GE’s value proposition to customers. Understand customers’ needs in an industrial setting. Voice opinions and present clear rationale using data or factual evidence to influence. Look for opportunities to improve the customer experience while maintaining business requirements. Proactively identify issues and independently develop solutions. Coordinate role responsibilities with others to achieve mutual goals.
