Position Summary: The advanced practice provider provides inpatient/outpatient management, consultations, and co-management of patients in the acute care and practice setting. Responsibilities include assessing the physical and psychosocial status of patients, developing a diagnosis, and working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to formulate and implement the treatment plan. The provider also performs complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, prescribes medication, and participates in quality initiatives to ensure consistent attainment of key quality indicators.
Qualifications include a Nurse Practitioner MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing, an APRN license in the state of Florida, and current BLS certification. For Physician Assistants, qualifications include a graduate degree from an accredited physician assistant program, current licensure in the State of Florida, and current BLS/healthcare certification. Experience is not required.
