Lead Licensed Physical Therapist Or Licensed Occupational Therapist
Prava Therapy
Lead Therapist Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) Full-Time | Cambridge Village of Wilmington | Wilmington, NC What if you could build the kind of therapy program you always wished existed in senior living? Not a therapy room tucked away in the back of a building. Not a revolving door of therapists. Not a program defined by visits, units, and diagnoses. A clinical presence that residents know. A therapy program the community is proud of. A place where great clinicians actually want to practice. Prava is looking for a Lead Therapist — PT or OT — to build and lead our therapy presence at Cambridge Village of Wilmington. And we’re looking for someone who wants more than a job. We’re looking for someone who wants to own the opportunity. Welcome to Cambridge Village. Cambridge Village is not traditional senior living. It was designed around Optimal Living® —a philosophy centered on active retirement, wellness, concierge healthcare, meaningful experiences, social connection, and helping residents continue to live life to the fullest. The Wilmington community sits just minutes from the coast and two miles from Wrightsville Beach, with an environment built around fitness, wellness, dining, activities, education, and connection. This is exactly where we believe therapy belongs. In the middle of life. Not waiting for someone to decline enough to become a patient. Your opportunity As the Lead Therapist , you will be the clinical face of Prava within Cambridge Village. You will treat. You will lead. You will build relationships. You will identify opportunities. You will influence the way the community thinks about rehabilitation, wellness, mobility, independence, and aging. And you will help build something that is bigger than your individual caseload. This is a working clinical leadership role . You should expect to spend meaningful time treating residents while also becoming the person Cambridge Village turns to when it comes to therapy and functional wellness. You’ll be responsible for: Delivering exceptional PT or OT care to residents within the community Building strong relationships with residents, families, caregivers, and community leadership Establishing yourself as a trusted clinical resource within Cambridge Village Identifying residents who may benefit from skilled therapy before a decline becomes a crisis Partnering with the community’s wellness and care teams Helping integrate therapy into the resident experience rather than treating it as a separate service Mentoring and supporting other Prava clinicians as the program grows Maintaining strong clinical standards and ensuring exceptional patient care Using outcomes and functional progress—not simply treatment volume—to guide clinical decisions Supporting fall prevention, mobility, balance, strength, cognition, ADL performance, and functional independence Participating in wellness and community programming Helping educate community staff, residents, and families Using Prava’s technology and AI-enabled documentation platform to reduce administrative burden Helping Prava continuously improve how therapy is delivered in senior living But there is another part of this role that matters just as much. Build the program. We don’t want you sitting around waiting for referrals. We want you walking the community. Meeting residents. Talking with staff. Understanding what residents are doing—and what they’re no longer doing. Seeing the person who stopped going to water aerobics. The resident who doesn’t feel confident walking to dinner anymore. The person who is struggling with dressing. The couple who stopped taking community outings because one of them has become unsteady. The resident whose daughter is quietly worried about a fall. Those are opportunities to make a difference. And we want a Lead Therapist who sees them. This is clinical leadership without leaving the clinic. You don’t have to choose between being a great therapist and becoming a leader. At Prava, you can do both. You’ll continue practicing clinically while developing the skills that make great clinical leaders: Clinical judgment. Communication. Relationship building. Mentorship. Business acumen. Community partnership. Problem solving. You’ll have the autonomy to lead your community while having Prava’s operating system behind you. Think of it as: Your clinical expertise + Prava’s infrastructure. Who are we looking for? We’re looking for a PT or OT who has a little bit of fire. Someone who sees a senior living community and immediately starts thinking: There is so much more we could be doing here. Someone who doesn’t need to be told to build relationships. Someone who can walk into a room full of residents and start a conversation. Someone who can sit across from a community executive and talk clinical strategy. Someone who can mentor a newer therapist. Someone who notices problems and doesn’t wait for someone else to fix them. Someone who wants to be known as the therapist in the community. And someone who still loves treating patients. You should have: Current North Carolina licensure as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist Strong clinical skills A genuine passion for older adults Excellent communication and relationship-building skills The confidence to operate independently The curiosity to keep learning The ability to work across Independent Living and higher-acuity senior living needs A desire to grow into clinical leadership The ability to balance patient care with program development Senior living experience is highly valued. Leadership experience is a plus. But we’re willing to bet on the right clinician. We’re looking for potential, not just a résumé. Why Prava? Because we’re building something different. Prava is creating the operating system for modern senior living rehabilitation. That means you don’t have to build everything yourself. You bring the clinical leadership. We bring the infrastructure. Technology that actually helps clinicians Our platform combines EMR, AI-enabled documentation, clinical workflows, and operational tools designed specifically around rehabilitation. A clinical system behind you You’ll have access to Prava’s clinical standards, playbooks, resources, mentorship, and leadership support. Administrative infrastructure Credentialing. Billing. Revenue cycle. Technology. Operations. We build the infrastructure so you can focus on the clinical work and the community. A path to something bigger The Lead Therapist role is not a dead-end clinical position. As Prava grows, opportunities can grow with it. You may eventually mentor other Lead Therapists. Help launch new communities. Participate in clinical education. Move into regional leadership. Or help shape the Prava clinical model itself. We’re building leaders—not just filling schedules. The question isn’t: “How many visits can you fit into your day?” The question is: “How much better can this community become because you’re here?” That’s the opportunity. Cambridge Village has already built a community around wellness, connection, activity, and living well. We want to make therapy part of that experience. And we want you to lead it. This is your community. Own it. Know the residents. Know the team. Know the rhythm of the building. Know what matters to the people who live there. Become the person people call when they have a question about mobility, function, independence, or rehabilitation. Build something you’re proud of. Lead Therapist Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) Full-Time Cambridge Village of Wilmington Wilmington, North Carolina Prava is selecting one exceptional clinician to lead this opportunity. If you have been waiting for a role where you can practice, lead, build, and make your mark, this may be it. #J-18808-Ljbffr Prava Therapy
