The ideal candidate is an experienced manufacturing leader with a strong background in automotive quality systems and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations to meet output, quality, and safety targets
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow to meet customer demands and deadlines
- Lead, manage, and develop production teams for optimal performance and engagement
- Ensure production processes comply with IATF 16949/ISO 9001 or other relevant standards
- Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen strategies to reduce waste and downtime
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain departments
- Monitor and report key production metrics (OEE, yield, scrap rate, cycle times)
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Manage production budgets, labor costs, and equipment utilization
- Participate in new product launches, tooling changes, and process validation
- Provide performance reports and updates to senior management
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent education plus experience)
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in automotive parts manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, process engineering, and QMS (IATF 16949, ISO 9001)
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Master's degree or MBA
- Familiarity with robotics, CNC machinery, stamping, or injection molding
