Primary Duties and Responsibilities Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, online, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction. Required Qualifications Required Qualifications : CIT department is in search of IT professionals to support adjunct teaching in one or more of the various areas of Information Technology (IT) including: Network Security, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, CyberSecurity, Virtualization, VoIP or Cloud. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in or related to the field of Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Telecommunications required. Minimum of three years of professional experience in related field of Information Technology or Telecommunications required. IT Industry certification related to CIT specified curriculum (within first 90 days). Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in or related to the field of Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Telecommunications preferred. Five years of professional related IT experience preferred. One or more IT industry certifications: Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNP, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH), CompTIA Pentest+, CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CCSP, PMP, Cyber Security preferred. One year of teaching a technology course preferred. Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required. These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments.
