Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.38 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 08:00 PM Tue: 01:00 PM - 06:00 PM Wed: 01:00 PM - 06:00 PM Thur: 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM Fri: 01:00 PM - 05:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and assigned security-related duties at a government location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observations according to site policies. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention. Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate. Complete required logs, activity reports, and incident documentation, and support emergency response activities in accordance with post instructions. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
