Procurement Specialist, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Operations - Contract Location: Holly Springs, NC (On-Site) Pay Rate: $40.00-$45.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, On-Site Contract Position About the Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support procure-to-pay (P2P) operations for a leading biotechnology manufacturing environment in Holly Springs, NC. This role is ideal for professionals with procurement, supply chain, finance, or operations experience who enjoy solving complex transactional issues, analyzing data, and driving process improvements within ERP systems. The Procurement Specialist will play a key role in ensuring accurate purchasing transactions, resolving invoice and purchase order discrepancies, supporting system integrations, and maintaining critical procurement reporting. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across multiple business functions while contributing to the efficiency and compliance of procurement operations. Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve invoice matching issues, purchase order discrepancies, and supplier payment holds in partnership with Accounts Payable, Accounting, and operational stakeholders.
• Support procure-to-pay process execution and ensure purchasing activities are completed accurately and in compliance with company policies.
• Lead data reconciliation efforts related to procurement system enhancements and ERP integrations.
• Maintain procurement master data and improve data quality across purchasing systems.
• Develop, update, and analyze procurement KPIs, dashboards, and operational reports.
• Perform spend analysis and support supplier contract and statement of work (SOW) tracking.
• Monitor purchase orders, shipment status, and supplier performance; proactively communicate risks or delays.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementation of corrective actions.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and special procurement projects as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and procurement effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, finance, accounting, or a related function.
• Experience working within procure-to-pay (P2P) environments and supporting purchasing operations.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and procurement systems such as SAP, S/4HANA, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, or similar platforms.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and create reports.
• Experience with data reconciliation, invoice processing, purchase orders, and spend reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences organizations.
• Knowledge of three-way invoice matching processes.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with document management systems such as Veeva, MasterControl, or similar platforms.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
