Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiology / Cardiac Stress Testing

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. Participates in identifying and resolving variances from patient care goals and supports implementation of appropriate solutions.

Education

Required:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Michigan RN License
BLS Certification

Preferred:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Certifications

BLS (AHA) - Required
ACLS (AHA) - Required

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of cardiology nursing experience
Experience interpreting cardiac rhythms
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to develop and implement effective patient care plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience

Cardiac stress testing or other cardiac diagnostic testing experience

Assignment Details

Location: Detroit, Michigan
Start Date: July 14, 2026
End Date: October 10, 2026
Schedule: 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, 5 days/week

Unit Notes

Performing cardiac stress tests in a Cardio Non-Invasive Lab
Expected to complete 4-8 stress tests per shift
Current active Michigan RN license required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed, though the unit will make every effort to accommodate scheduling requests
