Title Specialist

Title Specialist IResponsibilities:Process and re-assign titles for vehicle sold by auction.Examine vehicle title for accuracy and conformity to specified requirements. Verify acceptance of the title in the state for which it is filed. Confirm accurate Vin number, odometer reading, release of liens, and that title contact no alterations, etc.Determine negotiability of title document and assess for potential fraud. Report any title discrepancies.Resolve Title issues through interactions with customers, dealers and regulatory agencies. Work with manager/supervisor to negotiate price adjustment between buyer and seller for a title problem if necessary.Maintain knowledge of current DMV laws and regulations as they relate to vehicle titles and interpret titling regulation in each state for which vehicles are processed.Receive and if necessary, route telephone calls in a courteous and efficient manner to the appropriate personnel or department.Run outstanding title reports, review and contact sellers regarding outstanding titles.Perform other duties such as processing sale day transactions using the AS400 and provide customer service.Verify purchases in-lane using the DVRAccess and or add client information from Auction AccessAssist in sale day Settlement balancingEnsure Front counter coverageVisibly demonstrate commitment to Client Satisfaction modeling the behaviors of Cox culture.May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per weeks) as business needs dictate.Perform other duties as assigned by ManagementMay be required to travel and or work overtime as business needs dictate.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED preferred OR less than 2 years of related work experience.Valid Driver's license and safe driving record required.Effective communication skills requiredMust possess good problem-solving and organizational skillsBasic computer and software skills required.Drug Testing:To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test.
